Going beyond the classroom is the need of the hour and KVS as the front runner in providing quality education to the future pillars of the nation, always stays ahead and introduces the new technological arrivals into the teaching-learning process.
Today almost all Kendriya Vidyalayas are equipped with the required ICT Infrastructure and resources. Teachers and students have easily adapted to the new educational technologies resulting in better concept learning. ICT is no more the forte of the Science teachers alone, but in fact every teacher in his/her own way chooses to use the ICT to the advantage of the students.
This official blog of KVS RO Silchar is yet another attempt to affirm that there's no letup in any situation - including the prevailing health emergency. I am sure this blog will be a reservoir of valuable materials that would be helpful to both the students and teachers.
I congratulate the Principals, HMs and the Teachers in charge of Primary sections for their invaluable contribution for constructing and maintaining this blog.

I am happy to welcome you all to this educational blog of KVS Silchar Region.This blog is specially created to pool all the resources created and used by the teachers of this Region and to provide useful links of all open resources available to the students to minimize their effort of searching for resources and maximize learning sitting at one place. KVS is a pace setting organization. During this crucial time KVS has taken the right step in implementing online education as per the directions of Ministry of HRD. Though the Principals and teachers of this Region are comparatively less experienced than their counterparts in the other Regions, they rose to the occasion and created and collected wonderful materials for the students of Silchar Region. Principals, HMs the teachers in charge of Primary Section act as mentors and they guide and motivate the teachers to create materials and monitored the progress of online classes. I hope the blog will reach large number of children and create interest in studies now during the period of crisis and later when normalcy returns. I thank Commissioner, KVS and the Deputy Commissioner (Additional charge) Silchar region for their motivation and encouragement.
